SSA Business Intelligence at Polish customer
Grupa Kety, a market-leading company in aluminum profiles, architectural systems, and flexible packaging in Poland, has decided to implement the SSA Business Intelligence Suite. The first phase of the project, which focuses on Finance and Sales, started in March 2004. The implementation is being carried out by BEELC Polska and the internal team of Grupa Kety.
Grupa Kety is one of Baan's largest and earliest customers in Poland. Since 1999, SSA Baan solutions have been helping to provide the company with the advanced management tools.
The company employs 1,800 people and achieved in 2003 net sales of $184m within the entire Capital Group.
Grupa Kety's net of more than 2,000 customers includes both large European concerns and medium-size and small companies from such sectors as construction & building, automotive, indoor fittings, to food concentrates, fatty products, and sweets and confectionery. Currently, through its subsidiaries and associated companies, Grupa Kety controls approximately 52 percent of the domestic market in aluminum extrusions, 45 percent of aluminum joinery products, and approximately 21 percent of the flexible packaging sector. In the future, the company aims to increase both its home market shares and its presence overseas. The target for Grupa Kety and its subsidiaries remains growth of exports up to 30 percent of total sales, and establishing themselves as the market leader in Central & Eastern Europe in the three main business sectors: aluminum extrusions, aluminum systems, and flexible packaging.
