ERP-Forum 2004
Moscow, Russia, was the place to be February 19-20, 2004, for the ERP FORUM 2004, organized by TopS Business Integrator - SSA Global sub-reseller. More than 270 participants from 124 Russian big and medium enterprises attended from industries as military industrial to retail and distribution.
The aim of the ERP FORUM was to advance development of the Russian market of ERP systems and to increase interest to ERP systems implementation. ERP FORUM is a unique opportunity for Russian top managers to exchange their experience with implementing systems such as SSA Baan, Oracle Applications/e-Business Suite, SAP R/3/mySAP.com, and SAP All-in-One; Microsoft Business Solutions - Axapta.
The main theme of the two-day event was business efficiency and ROI. The second day involved workshops for products such as SSA Baan, Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta, Oracle, and SAP. The main speakers at the plenary sessions were ERP-customers only, in keeping with the main conception of the event: the free exchange of experience between colleagues: top managers of Russian big and medium enterprises. During the event, participants discussed hot business problems, questions concerning implementation, ownership of ERP-systems, as well as ROI and business efficiency.
The program of the event included several plenary sessions and consisted of 17 reports. SSA Baan itself was represented by six speeches from SSA Baan customers, representing industries as diverse as aviation and the production and research industry in Russia, among them: Cherepovets Steel-Rolling Plant, Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association (KNAAPO), Baltiysky Plant (Baltyisky Zavod), Automobile Plant URAL (URALAZ), Elara Cheboksary Production and Research Instrument-Making Enterprise and packaging company Tsaritsyno. To compare: there were 4 reports from Oracle clients, 4 - from SAP and 3 from Microsoft.
