Military production leader in Russian Federation chooses SSA Baan
September 2004 - SSA Global™, a leading provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, today announced that Alpha Integrator, its only reseller of SSA Baan in Russia, has been chosen by V. A. Degtyarev Plant to deliver and implement a new corporate information systems based on SSA Baan ERP 5.0.
The implementation of SSA Baan ERP 5.0 is part of a strategic initiative at V. A. Degtyarev Plant to strengthen its position in the industrial machinery and defense industries in Russia and world markets. As part of the three-year contract, Alpha Integrator will deliver (130) software licenses, and provide technical support, training and consulting services. The contract was signed in April 2004.
As a new customer in Russia, V. A. Degtyarev Plant demonstrates the success of the SSA Global strategy to expand business in new promising markets by leveraging strategic relationships with leading resellers such as Alpha Integrator.
